A block-based workspace — one codebase, three delivery surfaces
The problem
Task apps either lock you into a rigid list, or an all-in-one workspace too heavy for daily use. Motive models work as pages built from blocks — tasks, subtasks, comments, templates — kept in sync in real time, and shipped from one codebase to web, an installable PWA, and native Android.
What I built
Shipped a full-stack product to three platforms — web, installable PWA, and native Android — from one codebase.
Built real-time collaboration and automated background jobs end to end, with Socket.IO and scheduled cron jobs.
Hardened the production API with JWT authentication, rate limiting, and security middleware.
